The Best Hotels, Restaurants and Night Clubs in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Our team to Amsterdam are four young professional travelers who have tested a lot of hotels, restaurants and night-clubs world-wide.

Amsterdam is the greatest small city in the world. From canals to world-famous museums and historical sights, Amsterdam is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe.

Amsterdam is a city of tolerance and diversity. It has all the advantages of a big city: good transport, rich culture and lively nightlife – and thanks to the extensive canals, it is quiet with little road traffic. The destination is never far away, so get a bike for an authentic local experience.

Museums are the main tourist attraction – the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum is a must.

Amsterdam shopping is great in department stores and shopping malls. Go to Dam Square – most department stores and shopping malls are within a short walking distance from the Dam Square. The best choices are offered by De Bijenkorf, Magna Plaza or the Kalvertoren on the Kalverstraat. If you like more luxury, bring your gold-cards and go to P.C. Hooftstraat.

The Best Restaurants in Amsterdam
Amsterdam has a lot of cafes and restaurants catering for every tastes, budgets and moods. Top quality restaurants and stylish bars as well as more traditional Dutch cafés.

'Amsterdammers' love to go out to dine or have drinks at one of the many terraces in the city. In the afternoon bars, cafes and restaurants begin to fill with young professionals, students and tourists. The Dutch really like to have drinks and eat snacks before dinner, this is called 'borrelen'. Do as the Dutch and spend some relaxing hours before dinner drinking pints and trying out the different snacks.

Overall, the restaurants in Amsterdam have a relaxed vibe. Most restaurants do not demand fancy clothing or high heels. However, there are a lot of fine-dining restaurants and clubs where people do dress up.

Our Team to Amsterdam recomands these Restaurants:

Amstel Restaurant Nestled along the historic banks of the Amstel River, the Amstel Restaurant is a tale of culinary heritage meeting seasonal modernity. Rooted in authenticity, the menu narrates a vibrant story of flavours with Mediterranean comfort classics being its base and owning one of the most extensive wine lists in the city.

This is really fine dining, the place for great occasions, one of the top restaurants in Amsterdam.
