The Best Hotels, Restaurants and Night Clubs in Philadelphia, USA

Our Team to Philidelphia are professional travelers.

Philadelphia, or 'Philly' as it's affectionately known, is still retaining small-town charm, but has all the glamor of Philadelphia City and Washington. The city's oldest buildings are well-preserved and America's early history and role in building democracy are sometimes more accessible here than in the capital – it's a beautiful place that is easy and rewarding to explore.

A must is the newly renovated Rodin museum - it holds Rodin's great works The Thinker and Burghers of Calais among its 140 sculptures that span every part of the French sculptor's spectacular career.

In Philadelphia shoppers find options to fit every age, taste and budget. While Rittenhouse Square and other high-end areas are perennial destinations for the latest looks, pocket neighbourhoods like Midtown Village, Fishtown and Old City each offer their own unique allure.

Since clothing and shoe sales are tax-free, there’s no better place to stock up on style than in Philadelphia.

Currency is US-Dollar (USD or $).

The Best Restaurants in Philadelphia
There should be a championship event just for Philadelphia’s food, because chefs choose Philadelphia for their passion projects where they can run their small restaurants and fully commit to their vision.

As such, there’s an incredible array of good food to eat here.

Philly’s dining scene is street food, sidewalk seating reminiscent of European cities, bars with great food, craft pizza spots, vegetarian and vegan eateries and the storied Reading Terminal Market and Italian Market, and, of course, cheesesteaks.

Our Team Recommends these Restaurants:

Vernick Food & Drink Vernick Food & Drink, a two floors nice but casual restaurant with a lovely open kitchen layout, including the on-site wood fire oven, gives patrons the opportunity to observe their food as it's being prepared.

Chef Greg Vernick serves an honest, no-fuss menu featuring his version of new American cooking – very artfully dishes – the cuisine choices include a variety of small and large plate options, raw choices, as well as a selections served on toast. We really loved the duck toulouse sausage, grilled black sea bass with asparagus, and veal loin milanese with spring vegetables. And don’t forget “strawberry tarte“ for dessert.
